THE BUSY BEES

Honeybee and moneybee
both busybees.
In the beginning was
honeybee
later came moneybee,
honeybee collects honey
stores in honey-comb
it’s a daily exercise
moneybee goes to
each customers door-step
with a broad smile
collects money from each
stores it in his bag
a morning to evening exercise
deposits all the money
in the name of each customer
at the bank
and gets pass-books posted
hands over the pass-books to
each customer.
Moneybee gets his commission
at the end of the month
honeybee gets nothing
except honey to store
in honey comb.
While moneybee walks
away with monthly commission
honey-crazy humans rob
the honey combs
walk away with the hard-earned
honey collected
stored by the honey-bees
and leave them high and dry.

unlucky honeybee
