MY MAKE-BELIEVE WORLD

In my make-believe world
everything is beautiful
attractive and fascinating.
The snow-capped mountains
the melting snow under
the warm sun
flowing downwards like
frothing milk.
The beautiful seas and oceans
the waves lashing the sand-filled
shores
sucking the feet of the
visitors,
the sea turtles, fishes and strange and giant creatures.
The blue transparent rivers
mirroring the basements,
the gurgling streams
reminding me of a
village girl moving along
wearing anklets
the splashing lakes
through which boats sail
along
the deep thick green forests
under which shadows
dance in the cool breeze.
Everything beautiful
attractive and fascinating
in my make-believe
world.
Wonder, the sea-change
all the aforesaid have undergone
in the modern times of global warming.
Pity it, quite pity….
