Sometimes I do feel like
I am being driven by an
unknown force to a predetermined destination
which I often call destiny over which I have no control.
Sometimes
I do feel like I am the master of myself
no power on earth whatsoever
has anything to do with
my fortunes or misfortunes
gains or losses.
All said and done
with my circumstances keep on
changing every now and then,
my feelings too undergo
a churning process
in other words
the scales do keep on
tilting to the left and right
ends either towards fortunes or misfortunes
gains or losses,
what about you?
Could we call it human nature…..?
