MOBILE CHEMICAL FACTORIES

Memories,
Sharp,
elephantine,
photographic
Blessing?
Curse?
Both?
May be.
Rewind to the past -
Train chugging along,
Train of thoughts chugging along.
Sartre in my lap
befriends him,
Neighbour is my enemy?
No.
Sartre can also go wrong
Neighbour, my friend.
A 'bonhomie' born,
Discussions and arguments too trudge along
A break. Not a commercial break.
Don't go away.
Welcome back.
Daily meetings,
Coffee house discussions,
Walk the talk,
discussions and seminars.
Mechanical existence,
Dull, boring life
Solace only Sartre, Camus, Kafka,
A Kafkaesque outlook of life.
Have a break, a commercial break.
Don't go away.
Welcome back.
Forward winding-
train of thoughts,
remembrances,
Lapse of thirty years,
memories sharp,
elephantine,
photographic.
Ambience quite different,
entirely different
Friends' metamorphosis,
Now a vendor of medicines,
chemicals in other words.
Meeting after a thirty years lapse.
Memories,
sharp,
elephantine,
photographic.
Doctor's prescription in hand,
Friend busy with business.
Friend means business.
Fails to recall the former friend.
'Remembering me'?
"No sir, who are you"?
Business man with a big 'Q' in eyes
A look of strangeness.
Reminded him not.
Packed chemicals given in return,
Payment done,
"People turning chemical factories, No"?
"See you"- smiled at him
"Thank you sir, always welcome"
Business man busy again.
Down the roads to bus-station,
Vendors of chemicals all the way.
Chemical factories too on the rise,
Moving chemical factories.
Praise the Lord.
Memories,
Sharp,
elephantine,
photographic.
Blessing?
Curse?
Both?
May be.
