War between two countries
is aggravating
killing tens of thousands
of citizens and soldiers
belonging to both neighbouring nations.
Bombardments, firings,
grenade attacks, tear gas, tanks
convert the lands to
a grave-yard.
Thousands of citizens
flee the land in their quest for life
to the border areas
and beyond with their belongings
and pitch tens reminding one
of vast areas of slums
but with no escape routes
since the enemies bombard
and trigger guns claiming
the lives of many
young, middle-aged
and old intermittently.
Still they crave for
their lives expecting
ceasefire is about to
be declared with
another persons or countries playing middle men.
Life, my friend in the midst
of towering inferno is precious to many
the world over…..
