Please don’t come
to a halt midway.
Nor lose momentum
rather go ahead with
vigour and iron will.
All sufferings must
have a full-stop
tolerance has its limits
try not to live with it
apprehending suppressions
and repressions.
Today’s rulers
iron-hearted they are
just show them a beating-heart
oozing blood.
Reply they will
oh, hibiscus flower, how pretty it is!
The result of mankind
suffering under the yoke
since centuries
it is time we took
away the yoke of slavery
and emerge free
to fight for our rights.
