we are crossing unmanned

our life not in our hands
anything could happen

on the spot.

both crocodile and genuine
are bound to be shed,
that’s the way of the world
helping hands are
sure to be extended
to the kith and kin of
those who lost their
lives
generous help and soothing words
could instill a sense of
relief for the bereaved ,
loss of each life compensated by the
currencies doled out
the question surely
expected from all quarters
whether money could compensate
a precious life
but the tragic truth
remains as to
the world as a whole
is replete with unmanned
level-crossings
life full of uncertainties
no manned level-crossings
possible in life
all unmanned
and are dangerous.
Despite these adversities
we should have to
proceed unmindful of
the lurking death
about which nobody seems
to be bothered
as there is no way out.
